LUCB insertion vortex flow sensors, which can be served as flow transducers in automatic control system are widely applied to the measurement of gas, liquid, steam flow as well as the flow of turbid liquid containing tiny particles or impurities in pipelines with large diameters.

The ex-proof type LUCB,GB3836-83,iaCTLUCB insertion vortex flow sensor is verified according to the specification of GB3836-83< ex-proof electrical equipment in explosive environment>. This unit, of which the Ex-marking is "iaIICT4, can be applied in explosion hazardous area Factory Class C, Group T4 or below.

Principle

According to International Organization for Standardization IS07145 (Flow Measurement of the Fluid in Enclosed Conduit with Annular SectionHow to Measure the Fluid Rate at the Point on the Section), a vortex speed-measuring probe with a piezoelectric crystal embedded is inserted into the large-diameter industry pipe, which converts the Karman Vortex frequency to current, voltage pulse signal or 4-20mADC current signal proportional to flow.
